JVP V Lift mesothreads

The uniqueness of the JBP V Lift mesothreads

The combined technology of the JBP V Lift mesothreads ensures a strong lifting and tightening effect, while contributing to the active rejuvenation of the skin on the face, neck, hands and other body parts.

Age management technology

Unlike other rejuvenation methods, the method of thread-lifting is the only minimally invasive method that allows to lift sagged tissues of the face and fix them in position. The surface of these advanced threads is covered with special barbs or knots, helping to fix tissues firmly in the desired position.

Brand: JBP V Lift (Japan)

The ultra-thin flexible guiding needle is made of sterile surgical steel and has been sharpened using a unique method. The implantable thread is made of polydioxanone-based absorbable suture material. This material is biodegradable. After 6–8 months the thread is fully absorbed, but the outcome of fixing the tissues lasts for up to 1.5–2 years. Thanks to the unique sharpening method of the needle, the procedure is virtually painless for the patient.

The tissues react to the thread in a form of mild neocollagenesis (forming of young collagen) which continues to perform the function of a “frame” for up to 18–24 months.

When are threads used for face-lifting?

  • Sagged temple and cheekbone area

  • Marionette lines – lines in the corners of the mouth

  • Sagging cheeks

  • Drooping outer corners of the eyebrows

  • Double chin

  • Deep nasolabial folds

For whom is thread-lifting suitable?

Thread-lifting is above all indicated for patients who do not receive help from non-surgical rejuvenation methods (mesotherapy, biorevitalization), but are also not yet advised to get a conventional facelift.

After examining the patient and determining the effect they wish to achieve with the procedure, the doctor reaches an individual conclusion depending on the patient’s skin condition.

Normally, we suggest the procedure for patients aged 30–40, but this depends on various factors. The doctor may also suggest thread-lifting at a much earlier age, with the appearance of the first signs of ageing. Thanks to this lifting method, you can get rid of wrinkles and lines, and the skin that is starting to sag will be fixed back to its place.

The technique of using absorbable threads for facelift was developed in 1990. It makes it possible to restore the contour of the face, cheeks, eyebrows as well as the temple and cheekbone region. This method also enables reducing wrinkles caused by facial expressions (lines between the nose and the corners of the mouth) and the full removal of “crow’s feet” at the corners of the eyes.

The lifting threads can also be used to remodel hands, chest, thighs, etc. in addition to the face.

Linear mono-thread

Linear mono-threads were the pioneers of the new lifting technology. They are used for correcting age-related changes, improving the contours of the face and body, fixing tissues and preventing ageing.

  • Improves skin condition thanks to improved circulation.

  • Boosts the formation of collagen and elastin.

  • Ensures an “astringent” effect.

The wide scale of measurements (diameter and length of the needle/thread) ensures the possibility of working with any area, taking into account anatomical peculiarities, skin thickness, etc.

Linear mono-threads are simple and smooth and they are easy to place. Most often these are used for mild correction and prevention of age-related changes in the skin.

The mesothreads with notches are the most “forceful” of the whole range. They are used in the middle and lower part of the face and for correcting the outline of the face and cheeks.

Mesothreads with COG-notches are used for strengthening the tissues and lifting the face and they have been named after the unique shape of the notches.

  • Firmly fixed in the tissues thanks to the notches.

  • Strengthens the tissues, reduces skin residue.

  • More capacity and durability than normal threads without notches, considerably stronger lifting effect.

Mesothreads with GOC-notches have several advantages, mainly:

  • immediate and continuously increasing effectiveness,

  • painlessness,

  • minimal trauma to the skin,

  • biological adaption,

  • no rehabilitation period.

The procedure of using 3D mesothreads for lifting is relatively easy. The main instrument is a system consisting of a guiding needle and a fine mesothread. The ultra-thin, nearly invisible mesothread is inserted under the facial skin into the reticular tissue with a fine steel guiding needle.

After inserting the thread, the specialist will check the tightening of the thread, seeking to achieve as strong a lifting effect as possible and modelling the outline of the face basically from the beginning.

The threads are completely absorbed within 6–9 months after the insertion, leaving collagen fibres in the area, which will lift the tissues, preventing them from sagging and acting as a frame.

Method of the procedure

Local anaesthetic is used for thread-lifting. The surgery takes no more than an hour. The thread is inserted from the temple with a microscopic incision. Then, the needle is pulled forward under the skin and brought to the surface in the temple-cheekbone region. After that, the thread is tightened in the opposite direction of the insertion, fixing the notches into the tissues. Tightening the threads helps to lift the facial skin. No scars or surgical scars remain after the procedure.

Specific rules are strictly followed in the implantation of mesothreads, also taking into consideration all the peculiarities of a person’s face and body. The frame formed under the skin by the threads helps to smooth out wrinkles and lines in the area between the nose and the corners of the mouth, lift general soft tissues, and add elasticity and smoothness to the skin. Additionally, thread-lifting will slow down the ageing processes in the face and body over time. Mesothreads stimulate the formation of collagen and are beneficial to skin circulation, which in turn results in a noticeable, fast and long-term smoothing of wrinkles.

  • Pregnancy and breastfeeding period

  • Blood clotting disorders

  • Oncological and autoimmune conditions

  • Tendency for allergic reactions or severe allergy

  • Some chronic skin diseases (in this case it is mandatory to consult a doctor/dermatologist)

  • Febrile illnesses and inflammatory conditions

  • Diabetes mellitus

Thread-lifting is also not advisable in the case of inflammatory processes, herpetic rashes on the face or the exacerbation of chronic illness.

Following the procedure of using threads for reinforcement, we advise you to adhere to the following recommendations:

  • avoid active facial expressions for a few days;

  • avoid thermo-procedures and eating hot food for a few days;

  • limit the contact of the facial skin with any surfaces, do not even touch your face with your hands, sleep on your back;

  • do not use saunas and solariums for 10 days;

  • avoid massage therapy and active sports for 2–3 weeks;

  • avoid physical therapy and intradermal manipulations for two months
